Work began on the self titled album in January 2006 when Corrie had just moved to England from sunny Australia. He began writing immediately and set up a home studio in his spare bedroom from which the entire demo album was recorded. In October 2006 Corrie met producer Nigel Stonier (Thea Gilmore, Clare Teal, Fairport Convention) www.nigelstonier.co.uk whom after listening to Corrie's album, asked if he could produce 3 of the tracks for an EP.

Weeks followed and for 4 very long days the EP was recorded, mixed and engineered at Mike Cave's Liverpool studio 'The Loft'. Mike has previously worked with The Charlantans and Ian Mcnabb. www.mikecave.co.uk Previously back in OZ Corrie was lead singer/rythm guitarist for Brisbane band 'RusT'. However, the band split and Corrie decided to go solo. He had learnt to play the drums at the age of 12 and guitar at the age of 16. He is a completely self taught musician. His musical interests range from rock & country to blues.
